I have tried everything in your article, I have a laptop, Lenovo G570 Windows 7 x64 running IE11, upgraded from IE10, same issue. If I do not run IE without “Run as Administrator”, it is extremely slow, the circle of death run round and eventually you get to the page, in the application event log you receive event 1000 and 1001, fault bucket errors, appcrash errors, and . I have checked using four different malware and rootkit programs, it is clean. If I run as an administrator, no errors and runs fine. Next I will downgrade to IE9 or even IE8, or my last choice is a total reload of Windows. I have many years of IT experience being an IT manager, but this one is kicking me a bit, thanks for any suggestion.
Thank you so much for this, awesome, it worked finally after hours and hours trying to self work out how to remove damned search protect/Software Watcher Bundle/Websteroids/Search Protect by Conduit/// all of which keep coming annoying on IE and GOOGLE Chrome which insisted on space ship objects and games while trying to browse and many words on internet pages being underlined. the problem started because I wanted to download OPERA which is one AMAZING explorer, and I stupidly did not go to the official OPERA website, so in the end, obtained a hacked version of it which contained all this extra spyware which made surfing the web impossible on ANY explorer. Thank you again it has worked and destroyed the spyware which winds itself round your system. AVG and SUPERantiSPYWARE were unable to remove it, but your two apps and ADWARE-REMOVAL-TOOL- worked a treat. Thank you again ANDY WROB
You can easily download Websteroids adware from its official website or various download websites. However, as we have mentioned above, to enjoy the free game, you may have to experience irritating visual advertisements. Besides, usually, such adware-type programs travel bundled with the freeware and shareware from all over the internet. That is the easiest way how to transmit such potentially unwanted programs (PUPs). Websteroids is not an exception; therefore, you should check what programs you are downloading and if these programs are safe to use. Remember this; freewares are usually supported by advertising or travel together with ad-supported attachments. Keeping that in mind, to avoid Websteroids virus, you should read end-user license agreement (EULA) part of your desired program. In this section, you should find valuable information about the program that you want to install. Moreover, to spot such unwanted attachments, you need to choose ‘advanced’ or ‘custom’ installation option. Follow the entire installation and unmark suspicious attachments.
